With less than a week to go until the big day the excitement in our house is palpable.  The lists have been written, the decorations hung and the presents (almost) wrapped. Christmas in our house is very much a time for relaxing with the kids, playing games, eating way too much and simply enjoying precious, quality family time.  As any working Mum will know it can be a challenge to balance work and home life and continually meet the necessary demands of both.  Simply taking some time out over the Christmas period to enjoy simple family pleasures is what I look forward to most.

It strikes me more than ever at this time of the year that there are many people throughout our country and the world as a whole who do not enjoy the same pleasures.  Christmas can be a heart-breaking, difficult and lonely time for so many people.  Whilst none of us has the ability to change the world, each of us does have the power to make a difference.  Simply being kind, courteous and respectful of others and taking time to show appreciation can make a massive difference to a person’s day and their sense of well-being. It’s so easy to get caught up in the madness of the Christmas season we can easily overlook the things that really matter.

As 2019 draws to a close and we look forward to a New Year, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for their fantastic support this year.  For those of you who purchased from us, shared our social media posts and took the time to leave such amazing feedback on our products and service – thank you!  Your on-going support is invaluable to our small business.

We will continue to send out your orders until 12pm on Friday 20th December after which we will be taking a slightly extended Christmas break this year.  Don’t worry though – you can continue to shop the SALE OFFERS during the Christmas break and we will be back ready to pack up all your orders on 2nd January.

To finish, I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and above all a Happy, Healthy and Peaceful 2020.

Ruth xx
